Patterns for the individual draperies are the drawings of Juro Grau : icons of everydays culture from different origins , like motivs from heraldic symbols, sports, erotic, ornament
and so on.
The precious fabrics are high quality manufactured and sewn by Julia Moritz.
The two artists use for their unique works and small series materials from the highest quality.
Their selection is based especially on the good tradition approved beyond centuries in Northern Italy. They are mainly working with draperies from the world`s leading cashmere weaving mills Luigi Colombo.
Juro Grau is living in Berlin as a free lance painter and graphicdesigner. Theme of her works are the language of signs and gesture, frequent subjects of her drawings are heraldic motifs, icons and symbols.
Julia Moritz dedicated herself after her training as a gentlemen`s outfitter to the production of costumes for theater and film, before she worked as a costume
designer and project designer
In december 2008 Moritz and Grau started their company with a first exhibition in Berlin.
2009 they were invited as „Talents“ at the fair Tendence in Frankfurt.
In January 2010 at the maison&objet in Paris they received a „Prix Decouverte“ as
„a sign of recognition and encouragement for the companies that stand out for their
creativity, innovation, and the performance and quality of their products.“
