Computer games and electronic music are the Romulus and Remus of the digital content empire, from humble cottage-industry style beginnings in bedrooms and home studios across the world to zeitgeist defining global industries. For our event on the shifting sands of digital economy, we'll be looking at how developers, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs and creative businesses can construct business models that combine profitable mass markets with the demand for free content, taking games and music as our exemplars. Is Nero fiddling while the pirates loot, or is digital utopia nearly upon us?

Our two keynote speakers from the music and gaming sectors will talk for around twenty minutes each, presenting their experiences and ideas on the changing ways we profit from our creativity, followed by a short moderated discussion between the two and audience questions.

Come early and leave late as networking and opportunities will abound for those wanting to swap and share their ideas.
